Clear definitions of validity and reliability, as well as discussion of the different types and the importance of pilot studies in establishing high internal validity. Discussions of reliability and validity can be used as evaluation points to critique the metholodology of psychological studies in exam essays, especially case studies, naturalistic/controlled and participant/non-participant observations.
